Italians enjoy worldwide acclaim for such winning culinary delights as their pizza, pasta, espresso coffee and cappuccinos, to name but few of these veritable works in food design. In recent years the face of our country has changed greatly, due mainly to the cultural influences of immigrant peoples who have come to make their home in Italy’s towns and cities.

What was once the Land of Pizza is gradually turning into a Land of Kebabs. Brothers Davide and Gabriele Adriano and Edilcuoghi have come up with an ‘Italian Kebab’ to add to the long list of design formats linked to the consumption of the foodstuffs we continue to export worldwide, a veritable attempt at cultural integration that demonstrates acumen in knowing how to take advantage of the opportunities that may come to our multiracial, multiethnic society, an opening towards the future which is already part of the present.

‘Italian Kebab’ is also a reflection on the future possibilities of the “Italian way” of designing and provoking outside the standard scheme of things, but also incredibly simple and functional. ‘Italian Kebab’ is 100% Italian design and ceramic material.
